Quick Update
Monday, April 27, 2009/ 2:38 PM
Time is really running out!
I'll just do a quick update before I leave.
I've been watching alot of movies lately.
You would not believe how much I've spent on movies n popcorns!
Anyway, I watched Paul Blurt: The Mall Cop, Shinjuku Incident, Taken, 17 Again, Friday The Thirteen and I'll be watching The Ramen Girl (Premier Screening Today!) later.
If you guys haven't watched these movies, perhaps I could recommend those that are nice and worth your money.
Here it goes..
Looking for a comedy that can make you burst into laughters in no time?
Then probably 17 Again would hit the mark!
You would probably see traces of Elf (Related to Lord of the Ring) acting with Zac Efon!
(You'll understand once you watch the movie!)
I ensure you the Elf part is really very hilarious in that show.
Other than that, the touching side of the story should not be left out too!
Afterall, the whole story revolves around how Zac trying to salvage his marriage by going back in time.
You may just break into tears when you see how young Zac Efron did to win back her wife!
I would highly recommend 17 Again =)
If comedy could not satisfy your hunger for more movies, then how about Action-Packed?
The Movie, Taken, will sure be your favourite!
The storyline and plot are real good!
It tells a story on how a father would save his kipnapped daughter at all means.
You'll expect to see blood and broken limbs in that show.
Well, which parents would not kill just to save their own child if that's the only way?
Gore I would say.
But rest assured, you'll be glued to the screen at all times despite the blood and exposed flesh because every part of the show is just to exciting to be missed out.
Oh yes, there'll be touching scenes when the father and child reunite!
The show will definitely worth your 10 bucks!
If you like none of the genres I've mentioned, maybe you're looking for horror or trailer?
How about Friday The thirteen?
You would have seen the old Friday the thirteen but the newest one is totally different in terms of special effect and sound effect!
Another highly recommended Gore film!
Every scene is sure good enough to make you scream!
Okay, it's abit exaggerated but I know there were umpteen times I held my breath while watching for I knew something was coming all out to scare me.
I admit even though you may know when are the scary scenes, they'll still find ways to make you least expect them.
You're definitely in for a scary treat!
Oh yes, there'll sure be blood too!
So wait no more, try it and you will understand =)
That's all for the recommendation!
Just a little update about me.
I'll leaving for
Taiwan tomorrow for holiday.
=)
Yes, I'll be taking 8am flight tomorrow. (Gosh, so early!)
Finally I can get away to another country after working for so long..
I'll be
back by this
Saturday.
Hopefully I would enjoy the trip!
Cya then!

I believe many of you would know how's a extreme high-pitch voice sounds like.
All of us should have heard it in Opera or some pop songs. For some, they may have heard celebrities trying to mimic these voices but usually resulting in laughters.
Hmm, does this remind you of the GuessX3 show. Lol..
The chinese call it the "hai tun yin" or Dolphin voice if you directly translate it.
One artist who I think can really sing and incorporate these high-pitch voices into her songs is Zhang Liang Ying!
Does the name ring a bell to you??
If you have watched Painted Skin the movie, you should know the theme song is actually sang by her.
"Hua Xin" which is the theme song of that movie does have "hai tun yin" beatifully incorporated into it.
Another song which I really like is 另一个天堂 by Lee Hom and Zhang Liang Ying.
Like most of the songs Zhang sang, there're "dolphin" voices in it!
However, this time round it's a duet piece instead.
This is not a very new song by the way.
But I thought that the high-pitch voice (1.35 & 2.55) in it is very interesting so maybe i can share with you all.
Enjoy the following Clip!Another Heaven Feat. Jane Zhang - Wang Lee Hom

Updates
Thursday, March 12, 2009/ 10:12 PM
Pace of squadron life seems to slow down quite alot this month!
Those that are supposed to go for detachment have already left.
What's left is just a empty vessel..
n probably some junior guys like me.
Finally i can catch some breathe before they come back.
Maybe around 2 more wks more n this kind of lifestyle will end..
I must cherish this period of time...
What comes ahead will be work, work n more work..
Then another detachment will come.
Wonder if I can go for that overseas detachment then..
I'll consider if i want to go...
Lolx.. That's only if they provide me with the opportunity.
I don't dare have high hopes.
Jus realise 2 of my friends have left s'pore for holiday.
n i promise them to meet up before they leave s'pore.
But i jus could not find time out...
I guess I didn't keep my promise.
Hope u all won't mind =)
We can meet when u all are back!
I jus went to a nearby clinic yesterday..
Thought that they could find out the cause to my skin irritation n rashes..
But they didn't.
They refer me to National Skin Centre instead.
Now I got 2 medical appointments.
One is at skin centre n the other one is at podiatry @ TTSH.
Both specialists.
Hmm...
I hope they'll find answers to my problems..
Haix...
Sianx....

Marley & Me
Tuesday, March 3, 2009/ 5:28 PM
This is Marley & Me.NOT Marley & you. -.-
I wonder why the man who manned the tickets booth kept asking me if I want to watch "Marley and You".
Anyway, i managed to watch this movie last wkend.
$8/tix.
$2 discount for I'm a Safra member!
But that's not the point. lolx..
It's about the movie...
Sweet and nice.
Typical dog-lover favourite movie I guess.
Very inspiring and touching towards the end of the show.
It described the strong bond that has forged between mankind and dog.
Like it showed how the dog, Marley, would protect his Master when he was in trouble.
Or even how Marley would accompany owen when he was down.
However, all good things come to an end.
Marley still left owen's family due to old age.
And all the sad scenes came rushing in.
Flashbacks of young Marley soon appeared on the screen.
Then the crying and sniffing started.
Very touching indeed.
YES, memories of Marley will always be remembered.
Then, one of friends came telling me that she wouldn't want to adopt dog anymore for she finds it hard to accept the fact that all dogs die one day.
Just like humans....
I guess this show also reminded us that raising a dog is not an easy task.
So think twice before buying or adopting one.
Having said all these, there's still some parts of the movies I don't really like.
First the transition is way too fast.
Like the growing up of puppy Marley to adult size Marley.
And the giving birth of 3 children...
No detail was given on how the children grew up with Marley.
Though they did mention how Marley took care of the 3 kids but all of these were jus verbal statement.
Everything just happened too fast.
But we understand.
Afterall, the show is adapted from a story book.
So you can't expect all those nitty-gritty details to be seen here.
Furthermore, the movie already took more than 2 and half hrs.
Since the movie is quite engaging,
I thought we can see more from the movie.
Oh well, you can't expect so much from a 2hrs plus movie i think.
Nonetheless, this is still a good show.
Watch it if you have the time.
If you are one that craves for details, I'll recommend the book then.
I would love to see the details but i hate to read books la.

February 22nd
Sunday, February 22, 2009/ 6:22 PM
22nd February.
Time really flies. (I wonder how many times have i said this...)
Less than a year to my ORD date.
That's abit unbelivable.
I actually survive in NS until now.
I hope I'm not making NS sounds so horrible... Lolx..
It can be fun sometimes =)
Last Friday (20th Feb)
Went to children's home to do CIP.
Some of the kids there tend to misbehave even when adults are around.
And some were so talkative that they irritated some of our guys.
I guess we jus have to be more tolerant towards them.
My IC is right.
He said kids like them usually come from broken families.
They do not receive the same attention from their parents like we do.
As more taking marriage lightly, there bound to be more broken marriages.
Parents will divorce.
Children will be forced to live under the care of single parent.
As economy worsens, some may even have to grow up in a harsher environment.
As a result, children are always the ones suffering.
Hence, there's a need for more attention for these kids from ppl like us.
I hope more ppl will understand the plight of these children.
I believe if situation allows, they also wouldn't want to misbehave to get the attention of others or to live under the care of others.
SO ppl, be glad that we still have our parents looking out for us at all times.
We are much more better off than many people.
If you happen to have some spare time, why not spend it on a more worthy cause like helping out in children's home.
Perhaps, you may even learn a thing or two when you are there.
Before I end...
To a special friend of mine,
I am glad that you have finally made it through the exam even though the journey has really been a tough one for you.
I'm really happy for you =')

BACK!

This is getting on my nerves!
I just could not move the imeem player up...
Furthermore, the player looks rather big n ugly too...
The old imeem looks so much nicer than this...
I wouldn't have noticed this imeem player until shannon commented on the blog's song.
This really shows how long since i last typed on my blog.
I intended to change blogskin too but it's just too troublesome..
It's hard to find a blogskin that suits me..
So forget all those facelifts i intend to give my blog.
I shall continue from where I stopped.
February 19 Midnight
A dizzy n nausesous week.
Wonder what i'm suffering from..
It's been like this for sometimes..
It worsens whenever I start playing virtual games..
Many called it the Motion sickness.
I guess it's normal.
I still blame the game for making me feel sick.
LIVE 4 DEAD
Very gruesome and action-pack kind of game.
New favourite for those CS lovers i think.
If you are one of them, do try out this game.
But if u're like me (easily prone to motion sickness), this game is not for u then.
Try Spores, the game.
It's like Sim 2.
=)
Enough enough enough
Don't worry, I'm not a online game addict.
Never.
Oh yup, I'm so glad that there're still friends reading this blog.
Thanks man.
Hopefully, those who I've linked would continue visiting here.
Afterall, this is one good way to catch up with old friends.
At least we know how they are doing by reading their blogs.
Isn't it?
I shall end here.
And by the way, I really miss those good old times in JC.
Wonder how are my JC friends doing now...
BBBBefore i go,
ALL THE BEST TO THOSE HAVING TESTS OR EXAMS NOW!
